Yeah it's in Mason Co. in freakin' hillbilly Kentucky. He even said himself there probably aren't a very lot of viewers down there but he has the obligation to tell them about it. I'm pretty sure if they look out the damn window they will know better what is going on then what some "VIPER Doppler" is showing. He's seriously was on earlier for over an hour, and he's up to 30 or 40 minutes now. Goddamn weathermen aren't good for anything.

ditto! what a fine fine show. i think he just tops guster as the best non-dmb concert i've attended. if i'm correct, he played just short of three hours. i think he kept the show a little too slow towards the middle for a few songs too long, but other then that, a sweet show.

i got to the venue tonight at 530 because doors were set to open at 600, but i guess they opened early because the weather sucked. anyways, to get to the concert hall, you have to go through this bar/restaurant they have at headliners. who do i see shooting billiards there, but mraz himself. i went over shook his hand and all that jazz. it was pretty sweet seeing him just chillin in the bar with all the fans.

If your parents are driving they are going to be right there with you, its on the little road before the parking lot. They dont allow tail gaiting so we have to do it beforehand. There is a shopping center right across the street, have your parents drop you off there. They wil avoid the traffic and not have to go into the parking lot. saw The Matrix Reloaded last night...damn was it good. i not a big fan of the first movie...don't ask why, can't tell you...but this new one totally blows that one out of the water. the fights scenes are incredible, the car chase in in credible, and the way they end the movie is perfect. hopefully you all enjoy seeing a little naked trinity and neo ass :lol

also, if you do go (hopefully not to my theater in maumee) make sure you stay until the very end of the credits. not only is the WTWE remix the last song in the credits, but after they list about 2 million people involved in the movie (yes, the credits are unbelievably long), you will be happy to know at the end is the teaser trailer for The Matrix Revolutions

okay... i think it is about time to seriously discuss lodging plans. i think most people have decided to find hotels (although camping would totally kick ass). i personally have no idea what i'm going to do after night one. i really want to stay in columbus, but i don't think i can afford to get a hotel room by myself. i know i could afford a camp site (they're like $15 a night). i could also sleep in my car (it's a VW Golf... plenty of room:) ) please offer some suggestions... i really don't want to have to drive all the way back to cincy just to drive back to c-bus the next day.

I don't really know about many campgrounds around Polaris. There's Delaware State park, which is about... 15 minutes away from Polaris, maybe. I went there once, it's not too bad, not sure how much it costs though. Other than that... not sure. There's gotta be plenty of cheap hotels around columbus, dependin on how many people you're comin up with. Check out like some discount hotel websites.

i've been there several times...and i've only had to pay for one concert that i've seen there. i guess that's a plus when your best friend's dad is the director of the zoo. yeah, it's nothing like polaris or pine knob...but it's a great place to see a show. you'll definately love it. hopefully my friend will come through and get us in for free again.

Sounds like the same problem a friend I work with has. He has 2 Pavilion seats for both Polaris shows but he's going to be in the Bahamas. I think I've got both of his sets sold, but we are just waiting for seat assignments to be put out and tickets to be sent out. But I can ask around and let you know.

That's probably it, but I always thought it was because of the no taping policy that is written up in the DTE brochure book. I don't know about other places, but it seemed pretty serious, like it didnt matter whether the artist allowed it or not. That's what I always assumed was the reason they don't play there.
