The 1.0 tells me that I am going at over 100 kb but there is no way it is that fast. I got frozen up on a DL a while ago, halfway through the show. I didn't want to start over with the new method b/c I already had half of it, so I am doing it the old way starting with disc 2 tracks right now at 35 kb. Anyone else run into this?
When the downloader starts up it may read higher than actual, due to the burst of data that tends to occur when transfers start. After a short while it should even out.

Yes i was noticing that too the other day ... i think there is a minor problem in averaging of the speeds ... i'll see what i can do
