Burning Shows, Help!!

Hey,

I burned a couple of shows off of ants and i can listen to them on winamp..but i want to burn them onto cds and i cannot figure out how to do this. i tried finding the songs where i usually burn my cd's from but i can't find the songs like i didn't convert them to wav. i dropped the envelopes into the mkw conversion tool to convert them and even tried right clicking on the envelopes and click convert to wav but nothing seems to be happening. if some one can help me w/ my burning dilemma that would be AWSUM!! thanks!!

when you drag the shn files into the mkw converter, it almost seems like nothing is happening, but at the bottom there is a little line that says: decoding_dmb2002-07-28 or something like that. just let the mkw work. when the bottom line says idol, go to the location you set as the ouput folder, and there will be your wav's that you can burn. make sense? :rolleyes:

okay, i see that it says decoding...so maybe my problem is where i am sending it...if you don't mind tellin me, what do you set your output as?

it is whatever you name and save the file as.... mine usually ends up saving in the same folder and deleting the SHN file when is becomes a wav.

do you download the shows right to your desktop? that's what i do

so you don't change anything in the options -> file options?? u just leave them blank??

For myself, I put options-->file options, I set my files to output to My Music folder. That way it's not crowding up my desktop. I download my shortens to my music as well, again to keep from cluttering up my desktop. I'd also recommend keeping the shortens, and not having them deleted, and burn the shortens to a data disc as a backup.

okay i will give that a try...as for burnin them as a data disc that's a whole nother story, i don't even kno where to begin w/ that, maybe after i figure this out i will try to do that....thanks for your help!!

i created a folder titled SHNs on my desktop that I save each show in.


Burn data if you are burning the SHNs, MD5s, and text file(yes, you should burn all of those together on 1 or 2 discs). Wavs should be burnt Disc At Once DAO as a music disc.

I DID IT!! thank you all for your help!! now mayb sumtime i can get help from all of you for burning onto a data disk :) but not right now...i just wanted to say thanks a ton!! :cool:
