help on downloading from the newsgroup!

i'm downloading bartender from the 3-19 show and there are duplicate files for some of the "sub-files" or whatever you want to call them. so i tried it by downloading everything even the duplicate files, then i tried skipping one of the duplicate files, then i skipped the opposite duplicate file and all of which gave me error messages. bartender can't be downloaded for me for some reason!!! any suggestions or if i didn't make this clear enough, post it here! thanks

you have to give more info. what program to download? what do you mean by duplicate files?

for the newsgroups the files are posted in parts and you have to get all the parts and they have to be combined back together to make 1 file.

ok i have XNEWS and i know that they all come together to make a whole file but some of the files that make up the whole file are duplicated meaning i have two of the same small file. does this help any?

i use grabit. it displays all the small files as 1 big file to download. you're gonna have to talk to someone who uses XNEWS. i have no idea.

i would just make sure the headings are all the same and download those parts.
