using the antsdownloader for the first time...

I tried this last night but got so frustrated i gave up. i'm trying again, following all the steps very carefully. i've gotten to the point of clicking "open," the step before i click save, but it is taking a long time, coming up on an hour of "getting file information" (paper flying from the earth to the folder.) Sorry i'm being so literal but i just want to make sure i do it right this time. i spent about 8 hours doing this yesterday and came up with NOTHING. Should each step take a long time or have i done something wrong?

you are trying to save the ANTS file? correct?
you are going to TOUR CENTRAL finding the show, then looking to the right hand bottom corner where it says, download this show. Clicking on it (not right clicking).

Then trying to save the file and this is where it is taking forever??

Yes, to all of your questions, but the last one. In the directions it says before i hit save, i must first hit open. that is where i am now.

ok, disregard my previous entry. i am now 'saving' the show. it is taking a long time, but it did yesterday also. should it take 6 hours, or have i screwed up somewhere. and lets say i get the entire show downloaded, which i did yesterday, how do i get it to actually PLAY?! I'm about to call it quits on this whole fucking thing.
