Clear or Normal Pickguard?

I'm gonna be ordering my new taylor soon and i still can't decide whether i want a clear pickguard like this

Get one with a pickguard you can see, pick guards are part of a guitar.

Actually, I voted for the normal, but now that I saw the clear, it just looks better.

I vote normal. Clear looks out of place. It always bothers me when I see guitars with clear pick gaurds.

Clear...looks more elegant, lets the wood show....you never know whats hiding under that pickguard....could be a beautiful bearclaw....
