question about antsdownloader

i downloaded it and everything- but everytime i change the password to mine and save it, it always changes it back when i opne it up next time. i tried downloading a show and when i opened the ants program up after i saved it on my desktop it would'nt do anything but say "downloading...." but it wasn't downloading. is there anyhting different i need to do?

as for the password issue, ill just copy and paste my response from the other thread to keep it simple.
no worries. it's mentioned a few places, but i understand that there are quite a few FAQs and its hard to find only one small piece unless you know where to look. BUT, the good news is that is a security feature, so no one else can tell how long your password is. It automatically shows as 10 characters or *'s. so don't worry about that, it has it stored properly.
im confused by the 2nd part. you saved the .ants file to your computer correct? and then you double click the .ants file, and the downloader starts up, and says 'downloading"? is this what is happening? if so, please post the entire text of the downloader msg. thanks,
