PW not changing in config file.

I've read the FAQ and about 100 posts in 15 different topics in this forum and can find nothing (other than someone else asking the question and being told to read the FAQ) that answers the question.

Can someone help me? I cannot seem to change the PW in the config file. I can change all the other options, but everytime I go back in the pw has 10 chars and my pw has 5.

Thoughts?

no worries. it's mentioned a few places, but i understand that there are quite a few FAQs and its hard to find only one small piece unless you know where to look. BUT, the good news is that is a security feature, so no one else can tell how long your password is. It automatically shows as 10 characters or *'s. so don't worry about that, it has it stored properly. any other problems develop, ask away,

no problem, they sure are :)
i imagine if it was bad after only 2 or 3 shows from this tour were up... now that a handful are there and more ppl are coming in... its gonna be bad for another week or two, then itll drop off for a while.

PS it'll give you a username/password error if that were the problem.

The server loads are definitely high. Read the "State of the HTTP Server" thread in this forum for more insight as to what the deal is. Hopefully we'll have it remedied soon.
