Excellent. I've been waiting for this thread Joe!
I've had not a single ants downloader problem since version 1.3 was released. The guys that created the http server, and coded the downloader i think did a wonderful job. i know you can't please all of the ppl all of the time, and Mac users and some '98 users and others have problems, but with all the other outlets for shows i think everyone has plenty of options. and as someone who can't really use DC or BT b/c of connection/bwith limitations, i love the downloader.

Awesome, thanks for the work and huge effort to bring this to us, and to support it as well.

5 Shows downloaded off the server using the ants downloader without any problems.

(I did find the instructions for use a little confusing as far as what to do once you have saved the link to file.... I couldn't figure out ahy the program wasn't working/launching. I did a search on these forums and found out all I had to do was in fact click on the icon/link for that show on my desktop and that would launch the program/downloader.)

NO problems at all... the old single track way I would fail anywhere from 0-50% of tracks and have to redownload, usually multiple times. I attributed this to problems with the cable transmission/cable modem (just a guess).

I have gotten maybe 15 shows using the new dowloader and have failed ZERO tracks. It has made downloading such a pleasure! (however, I'm not getting as much exercise from jumping up every 5 minutes to grab the next track....).

No real issues other than the busy server and occasional xml issues. Works very nice, and I love how the speed reads faster than I can download! (capped @ 180k/s, sometimes it reads 300k/s for like 45-60 min)

Joe, aren't there three "notice" threads at the top of this forum that have to do with this? Why make another one? You close everybody else's threads that have to deal with this and out it in the "notice" threads up top. What's the use in this then? It seems a little hypocratical on your part.

i don't see any threads like this one. i do see

New Antsdownloader page (FAQ) (http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55547)

AntsDownloader 1.3 (http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55084)

Okay...so I have a show successfully downloaded. Now, how do I access the files/songs?

love the downloaded. no problems other than the root problem yesterday which was quickly resolved. couple suggestions for improvements. have the about to minimize it all the way into the system tray rather than the jus the task bar. a pop up on the screen when either the download is complete or when an error occurs. that's all i can think of right now. keep up the great work.

go to the folder where it saved them (you had to set this up in the config) and then go from there.

run the md5's to make sure the files DL'ed ok and enjoy. convert to WAV if you want to burn them as an audio cd, otherwsie just leave them as is.

Thanks for the help...I found the files saved in a folder titled 2003 on my C drive. I guess I did not set my options during the config. Thanks.
