Hey Jamie - that will require some additional work to the database, as well as going back through and entering the mic info in each one of the database fields for the sources. I'll see if I can come up with some sort of quick fix in the meantime.

do the tapers generally use the same mics each show? if so, could you just make a general list of the taper and their equipment?

They do until they upgrade and then they use thos eonsistently.

Not complaining, just a suggestion Matt. Myself, when something comes off my hard drive I usually mark the discs with mic info rather than taper name, just a preference. But digging out source info files and matching them with marked discs is tough for my lazy ass:)

no not necessarily.

scott experimented with some mics, fulton borrowed ice's mic, etc

True, but there's still consistency amongst mics. Brown's 99% of the time going to grab the DPA 4022's, Willoughby will have his KM182's, etc. I think more of a problem is that there are a few that use the same brand of mic, which causes the problem.

yeah. willoughby uses km140's.

yeah wang & brown use dpa4022, vernal & willoughby uses km140's, etc. it does get confusing.

this is a good feature, but it can be deceiveing if people don't get to sample all the sources. if they vote after only hearing 1 source.
