Joe, why has the sever been going so slow, is there a problem or is it just alot of people getting the recent d+t shows?

Bump, as this thread needs to be bumped it seems. If it's not one of the first 3 topics, none of these jauns sees it...

If you haven't checked out that Bit Torrent stuff, I highly suggest it, especially now since Ants is slow (lots of traffic). Wait about a month and hopefully the Ants HTTP server will speed up (less traffic).

But BT sucks up your RAM. Makes the rest of your comp run like shit.
Only sometimes though.

I've got no BT complaints other than the lamers who don't share when they're done downloading. Rule of thumb is share for at least as long as it took you to download right? And I haven't noticed is sucking up my RAM at all..I've got 512 in this box, and I can still play games while d/ling.

Heh, I'll pull 120k/s down, then around 95%, 0k/s down and 25k/s up for a while, and the d/l creeps back up to around 20k/s til it finishes. Almost like clockwork...it's kinda weird. ;)
