Where can i DL D&T, (new to SHN)

hey all,

i finally broke down and got into this whole shn thing. i downloaded my 1st show yesterday (Tim at the wetlands) as a test and all went well. so i can't download from ants b/c i can't have the amount they need in my computer, so i'm looking for something like etree where i can just download. i have done a lot of reading in f.a.q's and i can't seem to find other places to download. i have heard things about direct connect, shn napster, further and bit torrent. i can't find the sites and i think bit torrent is like ants where you need to host stuff too, am i correct, are those other sites like etree or like ants? any help would be appreciated. thank you!

you don't need to host anything in order to dl from ants. you also don't need to host anything to dl bit torrent. i'm not sure how you got those ideas. check out the faq here.

you can find links for direct connect here on this site. check the ants.org home page and look under music up top.

i could have sworn i read that i needed to have like 40gb or something on my hard drive in order to dl from ants, i can't seem to find it now but ok cool. thank you so much for the info, i'm so excited that i finally got all this to work for me. the tim show i got i have been trying to find someone to trade with for like 8 months so this stuff is great. thanks again for the info :>)

no problem. and you need a certain amount of shows to be a server...not to download, though.

thanks for the help guys, i have been trying for a few hours now and i can't get onto any servers, i'm guessing this is gonna be the norm if i'm trying to get anything dmb related.

and the dc hub thing it says:You must share at least 5gb worth of .shn files or videos to join. and then it says:At least 4 GBs of DMB related (DMB,DM,D&T, etc.) SHNs or MPEGs must be shared at all times.

so that means i can't get anything from there right?

yeah the DC hubs wont let you in unless you have that much shared... so you can when you get the required amount of shows.
