I was in that position once...i sought out the advice of all my friends and they were like go for it, you don't need to worry about ruining you're friendship cause she def. feels the same...i told her how i felt and all i got was an "oh, that nice." We never spoke of it ever again...it was hard for me and a bit awkward for like two weeks...but after that i was over it and 2 two years later she's still one of my best friends...so go for it...its alot better than going on wondering what could be...
