Ok, well some of you know that me and kandis (aka OneSweetJimiGir on here), well kinda like each other. haha.

Here is the problem, we wanna meet and my mom has a problem with me going to Texas to visit her by myself (for multiple reasons). I asked mom about going about a week ago and she said I'd think about it but if Kandis came here that might help her decision. Well, kandis cant come up here till prolly next year, I could prolly go down there sometime this summer. Do I bring it up again to mom and maybe get her angry (well kinda angry), asking again if I can go down there or do I let it go for now? I really wanna go now, because of the summer and stuff.

It might be confusing, if you have any questions, let me know. Thanks to anyone who responds.

Hmmm definetly a tricking situation.....

I personally would maybe give it a rest for a week or so and then ask her again. Does she know that you two like each other? Maybe tell her your mom some things about her and it will help her make up her mind.

Also maybe if each of your mom or dads talked and discuss arrangements to where you will staying and whatnot.

The problem is she doesnt want me liking her at all. She is catholic, I am jewish. My mom is big on the date only jewish people and so she doesnt want me liking her at all. Mom knows about kandis and I talk about her here and there, but just as friends.

I told her that I only wanna go to visit her as a friend. We have been talking for about 6 months and I said I just wanna meet her as a friend, nothing more, even though it is.

Its a good thing that you didn't give in. I think everyone around her knows my own personal story. My two friends are talking to me again. I got my Jason Mraz and Dave show in the mail today from Jason :D (that made my day) and I got a couple books from the library

and talking to people on here helped alot too
