are there any dmb recordings out there (to download - shn) that compare to Brown's or Vernal's pull of 3/29/03? ... because these pulls are UNBELIEVABLE... :)

Maybe this is obvious, but Brown's 3/28/03 is is also excellent. I like the setlist slightly better than 3/29/03 too, but that's just me.

Lcsulla's has most of the ones I was thinking of, but here's a few more:

7/8/00 Vernal
9/15/00 Chen
Scott Brown's 2001 Camdens (6/22,23,24)
7/16/02 Brown

and my all time favorite pull
8/22/00 Sarnovsky - seriously, check this one out if you haven't already.

Such a great pull of a great show. Craig was right on the money that night. Killer 2nd disc if I remember correctly.

Another really nice one is Brown's 9-08-00. I think that one is on here.

There have been a few of these threads, but this one is super-helpful. Thanks to all who posted. Even the Mets fans.

Seems to be sort of a mix of sound quality and performance in the picks ... another thread on classic shows is at this thread (http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64185), since this thread is a little light on the older shows.

I had good luck with some of the recommendations here - so it sent me searching for more. FYI, the search function isn't an especially easy way to find this stuff ... but here's a few links, with quite a few opinions, for those interested:
