Text File question

I was wondering how you open the text files downloaded from the server with Wordpad instead of Notepad fresh off the download? Such as, when the Download Finished screen comes up and you can Open the file, folder or close the screen, when I choose Open the File, how can I do that so it uses Wordpad instead of Notepad??

wordpad is bulky and horrible. dont bother. download the trial version of editpad pro (editpadpro.com). options > prefs > file types > txt, and then just push the associate buttons to go with it.

trust me, this is the text editor you'll want for everything. especialy since you can open unlimited files and not have to deal with the clutter.

Alright great thanks. I was just tired of having to hit enter at all the times enter was hit during text files in Notepad.

i;m gonna suggest metapad; it's free

i use it instead of notepad and wordpad. it does a good job
of converting those spaces, etc.
