Are u doing that B tuning or the standard tuninbg version? The standard one is not that hard. The hardest part is getting used to that D with the F# on the 4th string........

For the standard tuning version?

For the D with the F# on the D, I barre the 2nd fret, use my ring finger on the 4th fret of the D string, and my middle finger on the 3rd fret of the B. (picture doing a barred 7th chord on the E or a barred m7 chord on the A)

For that last chord, I do the same thing, but put my pinky of the 5th fret of the E.

I'm still having a bit of trouble with the last part of the song, the timing's pretty screwy, but I'll get it sooner or later.

yeah I also discovered the barret thingy with the 2nd fret but it''s still difficult for me to make that switch from the previous chord.

I look at it like it's a little similar to Stairway to Heaven as you move down the neck, I dunno, just kinda clicked for me.

SoL is fun to play. I like using the capo, it's only tricky to reach those high notes on the chorus. The only part I haven't been able to get down is the "what to do..." part. I can play it, but I can't figure out what order it's supposed to go in.

The tabs written for B-tuning can be played by using a guitar in regular tuning but putting a capo over the seventh fret.

isn''t capo 7 a little excessive? doesn''t it become too high and pitchy?

Not at all actually, it sounds exactly the same as daves guitar on that song.

i know it is in a different key or whatever, but i think it sounds better playing it with the capo on the 5th fret. the vocals are easier to hit also. and i mess around with that D formation in the chorus, hammering on my pinky and stuff like that.
