hey kevin -
as it is 2:45 in the morning and i am looking for more reasons to procrastinate studying for my viral pathogenisis exam -- i checked out your online journal. so sorry about the research design problem. are you planning on going to graduate school? it only gets worse -- i'm a first year @ Baylor College of Medicine (getting my PhD in Molecular Virology and Microbiology). although i have no idea what your assignment is and what area you are even studying -- here's some advice. if you are looking for topics -- check out recent issues of nature and science. one HUGE topic right now is RNA interference, especially therapeutic applications. (There was a paper published in March this year in Nature using siRNA directed against Fas to abbrogate the liver damage characteristic of Hepatitis. very cool)
anyway -- i hope that may help in some way!

Hey Jenn...thanks for the info...i have thought about going to medical school...not sure if my grades are good enough...but my research design is for a political science class not biology or chemistry..if it were for a science class i would be breezing thru it...stupid arts classes...
