Since I kind of like you guys here I thought I would let you know a new / old show is going to the newsgroup now. They had some technical difficulties that night but it is still a good show. Enjoy. ;)

NOTES:
----------
During Ants Marching Dave mentions that there were technical difficulties throughout the show. I annotated the areas that were affected by these difficulties.

# Noticable sound adjustment at the beginning. This is due to the taper adjusting levels. Best Of Whats Around starts abruptly.
$ Drop out at the end of Satellite - fade out applied. Fade in applied to Tripping Billies.
+ Slight static from the 05:14 to the 05:17 mark of Say Goodbye.
= Slight static in the beginning of Jimi Thing. There are also drop outs at the 04:06 and 08:31 marks.
@ Drop out at the very end of Minarets - fade out applied - fade in applied to Lover Lay Down.
* There was a tape flip after Lover Lay down - fade out applied. Fade in applied before Dancing Nancies also due to the tape flip.
% Taper ran out of tape - All Along The Watchtower ends abruptly - fade out applied.
^ Edwin McCain guests on vocals.

Hey... just for curiosity's sake... How is it that these old shows come out of the woodwork? I assume that maybe they were once spread on analog, but if this is from a master or low generation analog tape, what takes so long for them to get circulated?

I'm not complaining by any means.. but do people have a lot of stuff thats older and isn't circulating thats just sitting around somewhere? There always seems to be new / old stuff popping up every other week.. I for one hope it keeps comin!

Thanks for your help!
Scott

I think people just talk to other people who happen to have the show, and either didnt know it wasnt being spread (no one else had it) or they dont know how to convert it. But I could be way off.

And is anyone upping this to the http yet? If not, I can start.

Actually the shows I have received recently were just sitting around someones house. He worked with DMB for awhile and would tape shows while helping. He worked with them from 93-95. He would listen to the cassettes now and again but wasn't the trading kind of guy. After awhile they just got put into a closet and forgot about. This person came across nancies and contacted a guy who contacted me. So...I am not hoarding anything or letting them just sit. I am trying to get them out as fast as I can. Hopefully this will bring other shows out of the woodwork too.
