Why doesn’t this exist yet? Let’s copy past all the links to the various uploaded mp3’s of Ants or friends or Ants covering DMB, other artists and/or doing their own stuff into this thread and keep adding to it! And then people, and Erich, can comment on them J

My first contribution:

With great help from Greppson [Jason] I have been able to make two tracks of my gig three weeks ago available to you! Both are covers [Consistency is an Ari Hest original, and Comfortable was written by John Mayer]. It was recorded out of the audience with an MD and tiny mic so it’s not ultra high sound quality but still very decent fo sho.

I hope you like them! Now probably as the best way to make you forget about those or to make you lower your opinion a little bit I wanted to share two amazing songs by friends of mine that are truly talented. The Annie Bethancourt track was recorded by me at my apartment, the Elisha Dellios track was recorded by me in Maastricht at a gig I booked for her and Jenny Bell.

Both Annie as well as Elisha are unsigned. Annie is from San Diego and if I may plug her upcoming gig a little: Lestat´s in San Diego on Saturday June 7th. It’s her homecoming gig since she lived in Spain for the past few months. Tell her I sent you! J

Hoping to hear some feedback on my own stuff and opinions on the other stuff! J Be honest! I want to get better and so do my friends :) !

Find all four songs here:

you can hopefully also get them by rightclick/saving them here:

2 - Consistency (http://www.uvm.edu/~jjohnso2/wes/03%20-%20Francis%20and%20Wes%20-%20Consistency.mp3)

Wes- those were amazing...
i especially liked the second one... her voice compliments the guitar very well...she has a great range
i would like to hear these recorded in a studio... but still keeping it raw
great work!
i honestly have no criticism except to keep playing with them (if you still do)

and i LOVE the 4th one... that is my favorite...
two women sound amazing together...
it almost reminds me of Rusted Root which i love...
guitar sounds great!

thank you so much for sharing...

and please make more!

hehe there is plenty more where that came from. :)

thanks so much! glad you liked them! :) and also that you liked the song with the two girls. That was a great night too. It's one of my top 5 fave songs by anyone really and I was there as it was being created. :) I produced/recorded the other two track besides mine and mixed them btw.

Although these are pretty crappy and old versions of some of my songs, it's still worth showing. They are much better now that I play with a band. Oh and by the way, the pictures are pretty old too, I'm rockin a nice sized fro now haha.

Songs to recommend: Open E Jam, Broken Thumbs, Bring Down the Sun
