Ok, So i've decided on a 614ce, but I can't decide what I want it to look like! I have 2 different styles(for lack of better wording) that I am choosing between. I might put a cindy inlay on the first option.
Option #1

Go with option 3. Go PLAY them and see which one you like best.

I agree about playing them, but I like the look of option 1 better...

Remember, though, not all 614's will sound the same. It all depends on the how exactly each particular one was put together. And the exact tree that the wood was taken from. If u'r gonna be spending that much on a guitar, I wouldn't spend it before you know the exact guitar you are getting.

Ok, I dont think you guys understand what I am saying, the dealor by me has neither of these guitars in stock, so I have to order one from taylor through the dealor. I know what kind of woods the 614ce has and I know that Taylor is a great company that uses the best wood for their guitars. I am going to be ording this guitar as a custom order because I want an inlay on the headstock, so I can't actually play the exact guitar I am going to buy before I buy it. I am even looking into the AAA maple upgrade. I know how this guitar is going to sound! I just wanted some opinions when it came to what looks better

#2, for sure, #1s wood color is out of whack

Option 2 I guess. I like the darker woods on the Taylors myself.
I agree with the people who are against ordering at all cost though. Each individual guitar has a different sound and a different playability. My advice would be if the dealer near you doesn't carry them, take a day and travel to a place that does. It's worth the extra cost to be able to inspect the guitar first hand and choose from a few of them, especially if you are paying that much.

i like the inlay around the hole on #1, can't see #2 that well. I like the darker back and sides on #2 though.
they are both nice

i'd say #1. It's alot more attractive to my eye.

#2. I just think it's better looking in my opinion.
