I recently had the please to see NIN in Phoenix. I have to say that the concert is in my top 4 concerts EVER. Thats saying alot because i've been to over 30.

If you have even a small liking to NIN, you need to go...NOW. Trent and band are in top form and kicking ass.

BTW...i realize this is an old post, but i would love to get that download....if its available.

I used to love NIN until I had the displeasure of meeting Trent. That guy is the biggest asshole possibly on the planet. I'm not the first person to meet him that's said so either or I might have chalked it up to him having a bad day. I guess there's a real reason he writes with all that angst.

I heard sinclair filmed the NIN performance in phoenix last week from 20feet from the stage and that its pretty much insane. So that will hopefully be a future dvd.

That's a shame - I met Trent on November 30th, 1994 the night before the NIN show at Maple Leaf Gardens. The band showed up where I was DJ'ing and I asked my roommate to bring Trent to where I was so I could say hello.
We shot the shit for a few minutes about Pigface and how good PHM is on acid, then I asked if he'd sign one of my CDs. The only pen I could find was a big green felt tip marker, but it came out so well. Green on the cream backgroun of the cover of TDS which is made of paper - awesome.
Trent then joined his bandmates for some drinks. A few songs later I sent my roommate off for another round of Heinekens and when he came back he said Trent tapped him on the shoulder on the way to the bar and said to "tell your roommate I really like the music he's playing."
Wicked! The Reznor seal of approval, like I ever doubted he would!
I still have that CD of course in great condition, but I never listen to that copy of it anymore now that the 5.1 48/24 Advanced Resolution 5.1 mix is available.
