there are no gaps in the shows on here.

if using easy cd creator 5 platinum, under transition effects (right click on a file in your list) select crossfade. i do it to everything i burn that's live even if it's from here. it fades out the current track and then fades in the next so it sounds continuous. i normally do a 2 second fade, but i never knew you didn't need to do it when downloading off ants.

That's the biggest waste of time ever.

Don't trade audio if you burn that way, please.

Let me try to rephrase: If you burn like that, you are changing it from the original. You are making an altered copy for no good reason. Please just use a decent program and burn with 0 gaps. What is so difficult about that?

i think nero is a pretty easy program to use. there's a free trial you could get. and EAC (exact audio copy) is a good way to ript he audio from shows that you traded for.

EAC will also burn for you. In fact, it has a permanent default DAO setting, unlike nero. Perfect seamless burns every time. :D

Why don't more people use this program to burn audio? It is so fucking simple.

Nero - Data

EAC - Audio!

It isn't a big deal. I do'nt know why he's gettin' his panties in a twist.

I always burn TAO. But I just change all the gaps to 0 seconds.

u cant even notice the fade, doesn't really matter to me, but sometimes my software doesnt save the gap settings and it burns wrong, that's why i generally do it all by hand. damn roxio

My point exactly. Roxio=poo.

Not that it matters to me, I never trade for audio copies anymore. Too easy to get something my picky ass won't like.

my dad won't let me get rid of roxio, seeing he gets it for free from his company (some contract), i thought about running 2, but whats the point really. just taking up space on my hard drive

As you can tell from the posts on this thread, most people DO run 2 programs: Nero and EAC. I use Nero to copy data discs (SHN) and EAC to rip and burn audio discs. Both of these programs are relatively free, BTW. In the case of EAC, pretty much any trader will use the exact phrase "you NEED it" if you plan on copying audio CDs for trading (if you are archiving your SHNs and using those to trade, you don't need it so much, but it does not sound like you are doing that). Most people these days, myself included, don't favor Roxio for audio burning because it is really screwy. Both other afforementioned programs are far better. It seems ok for data burning, of course, because that's hard to screw up.

At any rate, I hope my endless ranting has been helpful to someone. :D

:lol yeah i'll look into EAC, I not huge into audio trading, but now and then I will. if it makes life easier, why not
