EVERYTHING .... even liquor ... it's a good deal cheaper up here since they can't tax you ... gas is the only thing that stays the same price ... but everything else is tax free .. Groceries, Liquor, Clothes ... although I think there is a little on food, but I love it!!! :)

I loved Panama, but I could probably never live there ..... same w/ Japan ... although parts of japan are SOOOO beautiful ... like boating through the CLEAREST blue river ever and hanging out w/ a cool "indina" type tribe all day ... getting these cool ink tatoos that lasted about 2 weeks .. i had sooo much fun!

for 2,800 you can buy an "around the world" ticket on a few major airlines and as long as you plan your flights in advance you can fly as many times in the same direction until you get back to the longitudinal line from which you started :)

if we make 50k in Columbus, Ohio, america's lowest urban cost of living area, we'd only need to make 14k in Kuala Lumpur, malaysia's highest cost of living city (home to the world's tallest buildings). in Shanghai, China we'd only need to make 6k. i don't know how much money you guys are used to, but i assume we could all get by on the equivalent of 50k Columbus money since we're all just coming out of college. In Samoa, we'd only need 4k.

The airplane tix might be the most expensive thing :lol

That Jakarta pic looked just like Manila. Plus if you went there you could get by on English because almost everyone knows at least some, and many are fluent. This is a result of the American colonization of the islands. School is even taught in English.
