This show was definatley pimp. If you went with a lot of freinds and tailgated in the parking lot it was even better. Everything about this show was awesome; the songs, the sound, and of course a very stoned Dave Matthews. Dave also did this solo and "Jimie Thing" that I've never seen before. I highly recomend you download this concert. I mean after all only the cool kids went - (inside joke, only if you know me):lol

I honestly thought it to be the best show, but maybe that is because it's the only one I've ever been to. Won't miss this year, though, I guarantee that. Wouldn't it be cool to hear some new material live? Seemed to kinda hint that way didn't they?
I have to go with Gresko's recording since it is more true. Although you have to turn the volume up a little, it is the one that makes me feel more like I was there. What about the show itself was some killer ad-lib and scat work by dave. As usual, flawless musical by the band. I've still got "How do you know that God is on your side!!!???" stuck in my head after that night. This show was a power-show if there ever was one. No stopping, and completely energized as a hurricane bore down on the east coast. This is one that ought to make anyone ashamed for not having a copy.

Try a B&P request in the trading forum, or look for it on a BitTorrent site like www.dreamingtree.org. Someone else requested the show there recently, it may be up soon.

It was being seeded for me a couple of days ago. If I can figure out how to seed a show that I already downloaded, I'll seed it for you. Awesome show!
OK, I figured it out. I'm seeding this show on dreamingtree.org.

I lost my original copy. Outstanding to have a shot at it again. I even made a request on dreamingtree months ago, but I moved too slow in getting the seed, so I completely missed it. Thanks alot. As usual, at least the full amount downloaded will be torrented back out. Wish I could seed it longer, but I need time to tinker with my comp. Maybe when I'm done tinkering, I can seed it for a few days.
Heh, heh, I still remember this show like yesterday, also. I think the band also remembers the kind of energy that "don't drink the water" incites in this particular venue. This year's intro to the song was...interesting. I remember dancing my ass off in '03 to DDTW. Think I was too drunk this year, and some young girl was dancing all over the isle next to me, and possibly almost too close.
But she was having a good time, and so was my wife and I. I was afraid, you know, with it being a young attractive girl, it being my wife's birthday...I could have accidentally caused some major shit by simply stepping into the isle. LOL.
It was a weird show in '05. Seems like there was an odd passive-agressiveness in my section. Partly because I didn't have the room to get the funk-groove on I was doing in the isles of '03, and my wife was almost screeching with her cheers (I had to say something to her, but, she's so cool, that she understood). Other thing was there were alot of non-experienced DMB show-goers from the conversations I was overhearing ('course, it's always fun to see the expressions on their faces at the end) I felt a little hostile, myself, but kept cool and had a fun time....okay, I'm rambling, thanks again!
P.S.
May the DMB always synonymize 'don't drink the water' with the Raleigh NC, venue. Make it something exceptional every year. :D
