Just downloaded Vernal's 7-8 from Newsgroups.
Wow - EXCELLENT recording. Possibily better than Haag's 6-29 (Deer Creek).

As Scott mentioned you should listen for yourself. Go to our download server and download a few tracks from each and compare.
I will take a listen when I get home and let you know my opinion :)

no the server has been up, just not running so great right now...we are having performance issues with the server.
And besides I wouldn't consider that thread a "fundraiser".

You know, that's just what I was thinking. ;)
Actually, I really like my first night Gorge. But I may have low or skewed standards. ;)

your night 2 is pretty solid considering the wind, did you have a screen or something?

Vernal's is the best recording this tour... better then Haag's 06.29 (although his is classic)...

Are you referring to what I said?
If so...
How do you figure?
Definition of fundraiser
2 : a social event (as a cocktail party) held for the purpose of raising funds
I may be wrong ( it wouldn't be the first time ) I look at a fundraiser as something different. I would call it a fundraiser if we would have created the post, asked for donations, keep topping the thread, encourage others to donate, etc....
But that is just how I think of fundraisers.
Mike

maybe you're right, momo was "less common" of a name.
I wasn't sure if Scott was referring to me, if not, no biggie. If so, there is my response.

i see your point, but couldn't a fundraiser also be something started by someone who is not necessarily affiliated with the "establishment" for whom the funds are being raised?
anyway...i wasn't trying to start trouble or anything. i was just confused about the status of the server. sorry if my choice of words caused a ruccus (sp?) :)
no, no problem at all, just wanted to make it clear that we were not asking for anything, but thanks to everyone that has given :)

but I want to personally thank Mike Vernal (whom I dont know from Adam) for this recording. My girlfriend and I were WAY UP THE LAWN lol. (We don't run) Now we can close our eyes and imagine we were front & center. And yeah the wind was howling night 2 & I heard a bit in the beginning but not much afterwards. Once again GREAT JOB! Now if Dave hadn't had those voice problems Night 2....oh well ya cant have everything!
