good recording from casey/phillips a little lossy on the bass end, but barely noticeable, comparatively little crowd noise, overall i give it an 8

Amen on the insane Selma show, it was absolutely amazing. I have the first 9 tracks from the phillips/casey source; agree with bestbuyguy, pretty nice pull.

Anyone heard the Hiles recording? Haven't seen it on NGroups, torrents, DC, or anywhere else, and until the 2003 server is back up, ants is a no go. Anyone got an opinion, or know where I can check it out myself?

IMO, I would go w/ the Casey/Phillips recording. It seems much louder.

Thanks, at least now I won't be so dang ANTSy (yes, pun intended!) to get the Hiles source.

This tape offers a unique version of #41. Stoptime outro with "woos" rather than "everydays" from the crowd. Not a bad show. Matt and Mark pulled a better recording from the Woodlands (7-16-03).
