Downloading shows

I am going to start to d/l some shn shows, and had a question about getting started. I was following the steps before I could d/l the shows, and annts told me to d/l the antsdownloader and a .netframework. I was wondering if this was mandatory to d/l a shn show, or if I could get away with it. Any help or comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i'm fairly sure-- if you want to download all at once, you have to use the ants downloader and have to download all that stuff. If you want to download track by track, you dont need any of that stuff. when the ants DLer didnt work for me, I went back to the "old fashioned" way and did it track by track without those programs in place.

I suggest checking out the downloader though, it really makes it a lot easier, just pick the show you want and you're off.

It's not needed though as said before.
