both dics 2's of these shows will not burn. using nero it says unable to complete disc at once and using wmp it says that the last three songs wont fit. whats the deal? im using 80 min TDK's that work fine when the discs dosnt come close to the limit but i cant burn discs that are 79 to 80 minutes like darien and alpine disc 2's. anybody know why this is happening and what i need to do to fix it?

This is the reason that I put my 6/20 show on three discs. In order to fit the show on two discs, it required an overburn on disc two. Yes, the disc is less than 80min, but you can't actually fit 80 minutes of music on an audio disc ... there needs to be room for a small amount of data to be written on there too. Some software and burners will overburn (which probably isn't going to create a very stable cd, by the way), which is why these shows were "released" as two discs. My software/burner combo won't overburn, so I couldn't even burn my own 6/20 tape onto two discs. A lot of other people have this problem as well, which is why the shows in question here would not burn correctly.
And feel free to keep this in mind the next time someone bitches about me or another taper putting a show onto three discs ... there is usually a good reason for it. Peace.

Thanks Eric.
Roi'sFishStick. You really should download better software. I suggest you download Nero. Something tells me if you do you won't have this problem. wmp isn't very good.

lol. well shit. ;)
when posts looks like this, its so damn easy to misread a post and when they aren't like this its really easy to read some suggestions would be punctuation or maybe even using the usefully shift key but in any case if anyone is still reading this in particularly the user having problems maybe you could post your burner model you said you also removed the gaps cause as small as they are they will still set you over so make sure you do that and you might have to make sure the software is set up to burn an 80 min disk

hey all... eric makes a good point, but my show fits fine on 2 discs... my burner won't "over burn" either, but it doesnt have to to make it work... look at the disc times, both are under the 80 minute mark, albiet only slightly on d2... i have heard no complaints from the 10+ people who i personally know who burned it right after i released it... and all the e-mails i've recieved are postive, none stating that they had burning problems and plenty stating that the show was in a persons cd changer playing away fine...
enjoy :)
