Never seen that, but I'm using Win2K. Is it continuing to happen? Dunno if it tried to put something into RAM twice, if that's even possible...that's what I can get by reading that. Memory stuff ain't my strong point, heh.

If it's a one-off thing, then I guess it could have thrown some bad data or somefin...sorry I'm not much more help, heh.

sounds like the program didn't close out right or something. maybe check microsoft, search for that error message or part of the message.

also thought you had to be on .Net 1.1 with XP? or is that not the version # in the message title?

A hiccup in the Matrix. If it doesn't happen consistently, I wouldn't sweat it.

I get messages like that all the time. Usually I get them when I close out of Kazaa or Outlook Express.

This is a pretty common problem and it deals with a bit mroe than just the downloader. Generally when I get this problem it is because I am running a lot of things and I just don't have the RAM to support all of hte programs that are open. Were you doing a lot of other stuff (programs) when this error occured?

This problem used to occur when you would log into Windows 2000, that was fixed and you can read the article about it from Microsoft's website (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=262490).

This sort of error can also be a buffer overflow error as referenced on Microsoft's website (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q267/8/58.ASP&NoWebContent=1).

So yeah, I would maybe take a look at those or similar articles and see if it may be an Update you don't have.
