What do I do now?

I've downloaded the necessary software, but I'm wondering what I do now. I went to Tour Central for the 7/5 and 7/6 shows at Alpine. They're on FTP sites, so do I d/l from those? I can't seen do get this to work.

you can either use the ants downloader (not sure if the shows are up or not) or you can use FTP software, i.e. smart ftp or somethin and login to one of the FTP servers and download.

ants downloader and ftp software are not equivalent.

Where do I go to download the FTP software? Do you recommend using the Ants Downloader or the FTP site?

If I decide to use the Ants Downloader do I have to wait for the link to appear on Tour Central (after you click on the specific show) that says something about a taper's files? (below the links about FTP sites and media)

it really doesn't matter which you use. if you want to use the downloader, you'll have to wait for the shows to be up (which they're not yet). if you go with an ftp site, you may have trouble finding one that's not full. it's a tricky game we play. :)

for ftp software, you can download SmartFTP from etree.org

if your a newbie i would go with the ants downloader (unless you know FTP) ants downloader (http://www.antsmarching.org/music/downloads/antsdownloader.php)

you can try ftp though too. for smart ftp http://www.smartftp.com/ to find out the servers goto the main am.org page and click servers or ftp servers. then use the address (i.e. momo.antsmarching.org) and get the login and password.

shoot. try them both, theres nothing wrong with that.
