i was reading the tutorial on EAC. i have been using eac for a while now and always ripped the disc to my hard drive and then used my adaptec easy creator to burn the discs. on the tutorial it said not to do that. it said to use the eac to actually burn the show. so i tried it. my computer seems to default to adaptec and then tells me that the disc i am using is not a writable disc.

can anyone help me with this or steer me in the right direction?

thanks

matt

If EAC recognizes your burner, its as simple as selecting "WRITE" (bottom button on the left column" and then dragging the tracks into the cue sheet, and selecting write.

how would i go about finding out if eac recognizes my burner?

and is it better to burn with EAC over adaptec, even though when i do burn with adaptec i have used eac to rip my disc?

I have no idea if it's better. I use EAC b/c its a lot easier than nero.

You find out if it recognizes your burner when you you're on the cue sheet and if the pull down window says: "use CDR drive:_______" and if it lists your burner than it recognizes it. hope that makes sense :-\

thanks. yes it does make sense. my burner is listed. heres something i find odd. i go into the cue sheet, hit file, hit load cue sheet. and files that i KNOW contain music, arent listed. its almost as if it is not recognizing music files.

any suggestions?

thanks
