i have installed the downloader but everytime i click on it to try to open it.. nothing happens.. the hour glass comes up for a few seconds then goes away and then nothing. am i doing something wrong?
you have to download the .ants file from tour central, double click that file and it will start.

ok i just did that and the same thing as before happened... any other ideas?
you saved the .ants file?
you configed the downloader?

are you opening AntsDownloader buy double clicking the .ants file?

no i havent even been able to configure it... i downloaded it, installed it, but when i double click on it to configure it, nothing happens
look in your start menu. there should be a link to the config there.
you enter your ants username/password, the location of the folder where you want the shn's to be saved.
then double click the .ants file you saved earlier.

the configure window doesnt even come up
uninstall it and then install it again

could this be a just a problem with my computer or something like that? any other suggestions?

you sure you are doing step 4 correctly?
start > programs > ants downloader (whatever it is) > config program

and you had no problem installing it?
dunno... maybe try installing .net 1.1

uninstall the ants downloader and try installed .Net 1.1
what operating system are you running?

er.. couldn't tell you. all i know is that you HAVE to have it installed before you can install the downloader
