The 6.18.03 Show

I have been trying to download the first of the two shows available. Originally the songs were just listed out but I kept getting to download #10 on Disc One and it kept completing before it was complete. After several tries I gave up and deleted all that I had done and started over. Now when I go in there was a Disk One and Disk Two so I gave that a try. I am onto Disk Two and I see there are only two songs there??? And disk three is missing? I am so annoyed, I am trying to get this show for a friend and not only is it slow as hell but I just can't seem to get this right. Can someone please tell me why there are only two songs on Disk Two?

When I open the md5 file it basically tells me all the songs are missing when I have downloaded them. I don't know what to do this show is pissing me off. Please tell me what the problem is with this show.

if the md5 says there are shn's missing then shn's are missing. restart the download. the server is going to be slower since more 2003 shows were added, lots of people logging in and downloading.

I know why it is slow, I know that. I don't mean to sound bitchy but I have been trying this same show for about 5 days now and no one can tell me why it is so messed up. Has anyone successfully downloaded this entire show??????????????????????

It looks like the folder structure is screwed up...possible even two shows are in the one folder...I will fix it up.

UPDATE: 6.18.03 akg481 is fixed up...redownload the ants file and try again.....

I thought it was akg461? I am at work now but let me see...

Yup it was and it looks like it is incomplete....I guess I wasted my time on that show, I will wipe it out and just try the another one...akg481 wasn't working for me either...Why would you put a show up that isn't complete? (akg461) Just wondering.....

Just wondering why we put up a incomplete show??? Are you kidding me? Obviously it was a mistake, we wouldn't do it on purpose. I know not everyone makes mistakes :rolleyes: , but someone did, probably me. This is what happened. Somehow 2 shows got combined, the show you tried to grab, or at least the ants file was for akg481 I think. The akg481 show was complete, but contained some of the akg461 show in its folder. I am fixing up akg461 one right now, it should be done in about five minutes if that is OK. I know its everyones god given right that have access to this massive amount of bandwidth and almost 750 GBs of storage space for free, so I apologize that there was a problem.

he4ther - i know you had good intentions and want to know why the shows was messed up on the server--this happens. i mess up a file transfer every once in a while...

what i do think you need to understand is that everyone that works on this site does it on their OWN TIME with their OWN MONEY. just realize that they can't be here 24/7 to fix server problems or moderate the boards.

The people in here are so quick to say it is that or this and the problem wasn't getting solved. Anyway, I am just having a bad week and it is nothing to do with this and so I am sorry I am being a bitch in my posts I just lost my patience. Sorry, I appreciate everyone's hard work around here and I am grateful this place exists. I get frustrated because I am computer stupid and I don't understand why shit happens sometimes. I was going to email the file and then realized I had already deleted it and that is when I went onto the akg461 to try that. My main question there was why does a show say it is complete when it isn't? I should have said Other POST not postS. Thank you very much for your help though. TGIF is right, can't wait for the weekend.

I have completed downloading the first disk of 6.18 akg461 and I opened the md5 for disk one and although all the files are there it is saying "contains checksums for 9 files which are missing or could not be opened" and then continues to list all 9 songs I have downloaded. Perhaps this is not the md5 for this show? I am hoping I can convert the files anyway once I am done with disk 2 & 3.

yup. worked for 6/18/2003 akg461 disc 1

the files aren't finished downloading if the md5 fails.

It didn't say the files were incomplete. It says they are not even there. When did you download this show? It just became available for complete download yesterday.

i didn't download this from ants. can you please post the md5 here. there is an attach file feature when you post. attach the md5 file for d1 please.

if you have to login through the http page and download that way.
