Sounds like either you or the server are having network problems. Does this happen with different FTP servers?

In your first post you said that you start downloading then it becomes idle. I think that is the real problem, why did it become idle? The fact that my server kicks you off after 70 seconds of being idle is not a problem. I have my server set up to do that.
Are you downloading one song at a time? or the whole show ( or disc if the discs are in sub-folders )?

When I download I download the whole show...but it goes one song at a time so on down the list by itself...but when i step away from the computer for a few minutes i get booted...i dont know what im doin wrong...I thought i was doin it right because Ive gotten a couple other shows this way...am i supposed to do something to not get booted or to keep it from going idle?

OK, just so I am clear, you attempt to download a whole show, the ftp client takes care of downloading every song, one at at time. Generally on my server, after one song is downloaded, does your ftp client go to the next song/file?
In my logs I see that you jumped around between a couple shows.... are you sure you "queued" up the whole show???
LMK.

Yeah i accidently qued 7-5-03 or something around then so i aborted it and qued up 7-2-03...it worked fine for the first 3 or 4 downloads i think but then it said i had been idle for 70 seconds and disconected me...i reconceted fine the first time and started downloading again...then i had to leave for a couple hours and i was disconected again...this could be something im doing...im not sure...

It doesn't sound like it is anything that you are doing wrong...but I do find it strange that you are going idle for no reason.
Looking at my server configuration...to me it seems like your ftp client is not continuing to the next song....idle timeout on my server occurs after 70 seconds of inactivity....Is the last file that is downloaded before the timeout, complete or does it stop in the middle of the file?

I think it got to the middle of the 3rd track and went idle and cancelled my connection...im not sure what to do...i am clicking on the show and it went through the first 2 tracks fine but in the middle of the 3rd it dropped me and said i went idle...oh well...i dont want to make a big deal out of it because its not...
probably one of our network connections dropped, I am not sure what else it could be. If you have trouble getting that show, let me know, I will see what I can do
