i drag the dl'd shnf. file to the decompressor, but nothing happens, can anyone tell me how to decompress please??????

1st of all did you run the md5's?

i've never dragged the whole shnf folder, i have always just dragged the .shn's in

Try dragging just a single SHN file into the mkw window and see if that decompresses. If so, repeat for all the others. If not, something might be really messed up. Dragging a folder...I've actually never tried that.

You can also try to select all the SHN files, right-click, and choose 'decode to wav' as another way of decoding.
