what to do with the file once it's downloaded

I have downloaded from share the groove, and when their file is done i just drag it onto the mkw, and it turns it into a wave file. But with the one show I've downloaded here it says finished downloading i tried to drag it ont the mkw, and it does nothing. What am I doing wrong??:confused:

not being specific would be #1. what type of file are you dragging to MKW?

the shnf file, the same one that i click on to start the download

how long did your download take? like 10 seconds?

you are using Bit Torrent if you downloaded from the groove. BT allocates the space on your HD before it starts the download. it might look like the files are there, but they aren't.

it might have not actually finished. did u run the md5's?

try redownloading the .ants file and try again saving it to the same place.

Why would he re-d/l the .ants file for a BT? Or is that your preset generic response now? ;)

Yeah, BT looks like it's downloading really fast in the beginning, but it's setting aside HD space. It'll say 'Finished' when the download is 100% complete. But...technically you should leave that window open a while so other people can d/l from you...

shnf is a folder, not a file. Im getting the feeling that you dont have any ants downloader shns yet.

by 'downloaded here' i thought he was using the ants downloader ...

Ah, ok. When he said 'here' I figured he had meant the same as from the groove...guess we'll have to wait to see what he says to clear things up.

i would hope if people are having BT problems downloading from the groove they would post there ...

I don't know how this got so twisted around, but I'm even more confused now. Let me start from the begining. I downloaded the ant's downloader, I downloaded the link to the show, I clicked on the show in my files, it downloaded for like 6 hours, I downloaded the mp5's, and now I have no idea what to do.

Thanks for the help, but I figured it out, it was saving it in another weird location in my computer.
