Password trouble

now- i have done several searches and have read the antsdownloader FAQ, so before you jump my ass try to help me first. i need help with this problem:
"My password doesn't change. OR When I change my password and then view it again it's a different length."

i have used Antsdownloader for a long time and as of the last few weeks when i open up a .ants file, it says "Login Attempt 1 of 10 failed".. or something like that. other people, like myself, go into the config and retype their password, and it still doesn't work. when i go back into the congfig, a different length password exists.

i would love to sort this out so i can get back to downloading shows.

the servers are down right now, so that is the answer to your 2nd question.

your first problem about the lenght of the password isn't a problem at all. the downloader makes it look like your password is longer than it actually as a security measure. as long as you type it in correctly, you will be fine. it will always look longer than it actually is.
