When driving to Tampa:

Our res life department called the individual hall ways the "halls" and the residence hall itself the "dorm" Or we would use the actual name...for example- Granite Hall would be just Granite...

When res. life was over for me I felt like I had lost something... it certainly has it's challenges and down falls, but I think that it's worth it. I agree that it isn't for everyone and I'm sure if I were in your situation wouldn't want to make it my life anymore either, but you have to admit the experience is one of a kind!
