Ants downloader and FTP problems

I've downloaded a few shows by downloading each song individually from the HTTP server, but it takes a while and it's annoying having to start the next file every 10 mins because I am only allowed to download one song at a time.

I downloaded the Ants Downloader and installed the .Net framework, but I cant seem to get the Ants downloader to work. It just fails to connect and times out. I read all the FAQ's but they really dont address my problem. And yes, I do have the newest version of the Ants downloader.

OK. . . second problem.

I downloaded an FTP client, and I read all the FAQ's on the FTP servers, but I cant connect to them. What do I have to do to connect to the server? Clicking on the link just takes me to some info about the server, none of which seems to work when I enter it in my program.

I'd really appreciate your help on these issues, primarilly the Ants Downloader issue. . . the FTP thing is secondary, if I cant get the Ants Downloader working.

did u download a .ants file for the ants downloader and double click that?

ok. . . . i figured out the FTP thing on my own right after i posted my last message, but i still cant get the Ants Downloader to work. Yes, I did download the .ants file, and i did everything else that the instructions say. I really dont know what i'm doing wrong, or if its just my computer.

it sounds like you're doing everything right with the downloader. it could just be that the server is extremely busy. it's happened to me before.
