What do u click to play the songs

i kno its "in the faq's" probably but lets just say i cant understand that or its jus not working. when i click ants downloader it sends me to WMP, i dont know how to make it send me to winamp/shnamp instead of wmp.

you have to click on the .shn files to play them.

if you just open up winamp, you can drag and drop the .shn files into it. or right click the .shn file and click "open with" and choose winamp.

alright maybe its cause i dont know where the shn files are, where do they go once u download them. and do i need a compressor i dont have the mkw thing

if you have shnamp, then you don't need to decompress the files.

when you configured your antsdownloader, you should have chosen where the files go. otherwise, i don't know where they go. do a search:

Start -> Search -> For Files or Folders, and type *.shn in the search box. that'll show you where your .shn's are.

and if you don't know where the .shn's went, then what the hell have you been clicking on?

edit: and could you pick just one of these threads to continue asking questions in? i'd like to help you, but i'm tired of going back and forth.

ok ill use this thread, alright when i click on the [show,date,.shnf] icon it takes me to the ants downloader config, but it says its finished 23/23 files.

in the ants downloader window (where it says it's finished), can you see where each individual file was downloaded?

you should see something like this:

Downloading /2003/dmb2003-08-24.km140.shnf/dmb2003-08-24.km140.rtf
Download Successful
Downloading /2003/dmb2003-08-24.km140.shnf/dmb2003-08-24d1/dmb2003-08-24d01.md5
Download Successful
Downloading /2003/dmb2003-08-24.km140.shnf/dmb2003-08-24d1/dmb2003-08-24d01t01.shn
Download Successful

etc, etc (obviously the show date may be different, depending on what you downloaded). and then after the last track of the show, it says "Finished!"

do you see all that in the ants downloader window?

edit: and did you try doing a search to find the files on your harddrive, as i said in my previous post?

yea i searched it but it was the same thing as the icon, mine says identical file size found

Start -> Search -> For Files and Folders

Type in "*.shn" without the quotes of course. Run the search. That will be the location of you SHN files.

Next, download mkw. Open up the md5 files that are located with the shn files you just found. Make sure that they verify ok.

Then, download the shnAmp plugin for Winamp. Now open up the shn files in Winamp.

what about all the stuff in your antsdownloaer window. can you see all that that i posted?

i have a feeling the show didn't download correctly, if you can't find the files anywhere.

you may want to re-download the ants file and start over.
