i have a question(s) about my capo.

when I put it on the first fret, what does the tuning become?
...second fret?...third...?...fourth..?

it depends on the key of the song you're playing. for instance, if the song you're playing is in A, putting a capo on the 2nd fret raises the key to B.

From low to high..

First Fret: F-A#-D#-G#-C-F

Second Fret: F#-B-E-A-C#-F#

Third Fret: G-C-F-A#-D-G

Fourth Fret: G#-C#-F#-B-D#-G#

Fifth Fret: A-D-G-C-E-A

After 5 you can just take the notes and move them a string up, and 5 frets over (4 frets from G to B). IE: 6th fret on low E is the same as first fret on A, which is an A#.

(7th fret is raised B tuning, which is B-E-A-D-F#-B)

Each fret is a half step. So if which ever fret you capo on, that's how many half steps up you're going. The notes are (up the E string)

E, F, F#, G, G#, A, Bb, B, C, C#, D, Eb, E

EDIT: My 6666th post.

I know this is obvious but to answer one more aspect of the
question, it is still in open tuning just higher depending
on where you put the capo. I know those of you that replied know this, but
I just wanted to make it clear.
