YES. I am so pissed. I hope that it gets bought out by an entertainment company.

I do too (how much money you got?).

I don't see any way Simon is going to let this slip past. I bet they've had this in the works for about three years now.

Well,.....

1) tj will not own 'her team' because she's a Pat's fan and tj is playing the Colts tonight

and

2) now I really hope the Colts shut them down so you can look even more the fool for coming in here and running your mouth.

First off, he's ON my fantasy team, so I'm not sure how he will "own" me...he may own FOR me...
Second, Douchemanzadeh better do well, else i just might go apeshit on someone or something

Fourth, Don't get your panties in a twist over "Douchemanzadeh". I don't think he's a douchebag, I just like using the word "Douche" whenever humanly possible because let's face it, it's a funny word.

I know there's some poll around here asking about the gayest uniforms in the NFL and I am about 99.9999999% sure the Bengals won it. :lol Of course, that was only current teams, because I'm pretty sure the "patriot bending over to take it up the ass" thing wasn't too hetero.

It was great to see some big plays on both sids of the ball. We looke great moving the ball on the run, plus the short pass.

Oh and who else thought Theismann was being an idiot at the end of the game about Cinci losing because they didn't pass?

IF Cinci had centered their game around the passing game - and tried to play a shootout game with the Colts, chances are, they still would have lost. For one, they were playing Manning and Co. and Indy's passing defense has been somewhat decent this year (probably has to do with the abundance of passing plays compared to running plays) and TWO - the pressure Mathis and Freeney was putting on Carson - I would not have been surprised if he would have sustained an injury. IF CINCI had focused their strategy around the passing game (and most likely lost) - Cinci would have been critisized to the "nth" degree - When a team is giving up over 175 yds/game and over 5yds/carry - and you have a very capable runner like Rudi Johnson - you RUN. If cinci would have passed and lost - Theismann would be sitting their talking about how idiotic Cinci was for not running the ball against the worst running defense in the league. :BANG ugh hindsight is 20/20 - Just like the Pats tried to pass against the Colts and lost - They lost not because of the refs helped or they had "too many" mistakes but because they got away from the running game.

The point is Theismann's comments about not passing is idiotic - it made him sound "intelligent" because his comments was after the fact. - I'd like to see an NFL "expert" who said that Cinci should predominantly pass against the Colts defense BEFORE the game. I guarantee Theismann said nothing of the sorts.

......Anyways
That was nice to watch last night - the defense played real well - I'd love it if they kept it up........the team needs to keep it up

I agree 100%. I thought his comments were really stupid. If Cincinatti had passed the ball the whole night and lost, then they would have gotten so much criticism from EVERY analyst and comentator its not even funny. I hope someone points out to him how stupid he sounded.

I loved it how Cincy called that timeout with 2 seconds left in the half and Palmer got absolutlely nailed.

And what's with dumbass actors up in the booth this year? Matthew McConaughy (sp?) sounded like a complete fool. Almost like a stoned John Madden in training... "Well you, you have to play hard for each down, then each possession, then each quarter, two quarters make up a half, and two halves make up a game" or something stupid like that. And then dumbass Kornheiser talking about how Theismann isn't the sexiest guy in the booth anymore. Strange stuff.

hmmmm.....

Ron fucking Dayne runs for 156 yards on us. Can you imagine what Tomlinson, Larry Johnson, or Jamal Lewis would do to us in the playoffs?

Manning throws for 3 touchdowns, Harrison goes for 112 and 2 TDs, Addai goes for 100 yards on the ground.....and we LOSE TO THE TEXANS? I didn't believe it last week when it was happening, and I definitely don't believe it now. Shutting the Bengals down was a fluke, plain and simple. This defense is the worst I have ever seen in my life. They are really hard to watch anymore. It's going to take a miracle for this team to do anything in the playoffs. Teams that allow the Texans to score 21 points in the first half, and end up losing to the Texans, are not going to win the Superbowl.

On a brighter note, I loooooooooooved seeing Manning show some agressiveness on the sideline today. "GET THE FUCKING BALL BACK, GET THE FUCKING BALL BACK, LETS GO!" I think the Colts need as much of that as possible, because they certainly aren't getting it from Dungy, who seems to be the only person around that doesn't understand that there needs to be some major, major changes in the defense.

Go Colts, Merry Christmas.

The one thing I can say about the Colts ( and I dont dislike or like Peyton ) is they have always put the effort and financial means into keeping him happy. The money on this team is spent on recievers and offensive line. They spent alot of money to keep Wayne, Stoakley and Clark. They really dont have the money to sign stud free agents ( as an Eagle fan Simon was not worth the money ) on defense. Dungy is a good Def coach but you still need the horses. The other thing that goes against the D is if your offense scores quick it gives them no time to rest. I dont ever see them winning with Peyton until they change the priority and offensive mindset.

Manish Patel
12-25-2006, 03:50 PM
In all the games they lost, there biggest problem was tackling. Our front four is inconsistent. The linebackers get pushed around because of them. Our safeties are injured. Oh well, maybe next year.

The Steelers-Bucs game I went to a few weeks ago was moved from 1:00 to 4:15. One of the 4:15 games was moved to the Sunday night national game, so they bumped the Steelers game up to take its place. Same thing probably happened here. My friend had to cancel his flight and book a new one... ended up costing him an extra $150. Thanks NFL.

It's the same knee that keeps "flaring" up after he plays - basically getting swollen and sore

Its hard to believe that Cato June made the pro bowl last year. Also, where has Dwight Freeney been this year?

Freeney has played pretty well this year. I mean yes his sack #s are way down but considering teams are almost exclusively running the ball, and when teams do pass, wideouts are running short routes with the QB doing 3 step drops AND he is being double, triple-teamed and chipped by TEs and RBs.

.......with all that, he is still among the league leaders in QB pressures and hits

Freeney is a pass-rusher, I tend to blame (most of the blame at least) the defensive lineman and sorry LBs for the putrid Indy rush defense.

Sanders is for sure playing. Dungy said he's 100%,they are not holding anything back with him. I just don't think it's going to be enough. But, if one guy can make an impact, it's Sanders for sure.

it seems that Trent Green is on a very short leash this weekend. i wouldn't be suprised to see Damon Huard in the game very early if Trent looks shaky. LJ running for a bunch of yards is find and dandy, but if they can't take those long drives and turn them into TD's, they won't win the game. my biggest concern is Peyton and the boys jumping out early and forcing KC to get away from running as much as they'd like to. KC scoring early and often and burning up as much clock as possible throughout seems to be their only real chance to pull off the upset in my opinion. they won't win a shootout....

good luck guys..... :thumbsup

should be a fun game to watch.

I agree, this should be a good game.

I'm just not going into it with much hope. If Herm is smart at all (and I think he is very smart), even if the Colts jump out to an early lead, he will keep running the ball. Every time. There have been a number of games this year where teams have put together come backs late in the game because they ran, ran, and ran the ball some more.

Good luck!!

he's smart, conservative and stubborn. it drove me crazy a lot this year after watching the Vermeil show for the last few years, but i think that's the perfect way to play the game against the Colts.

I agree with the KC fan - I think a major key will be getting an early lead of two or more scores. If Indy does then KC will have (IMO) to at least attemp to mix in some passing plays and the Colts are a pretty good passing defense (You know I think I saw a stat on tv that said the Colts D have given up MORE rushings yards than passing yards - how sad is that)

Everyone knows Larry J. will get his - I'm hoping the Colts D force one or two turnovers.

I always said the key to beating the Colts is pressuring Manning, I was wrong - the key to beating Indy has got nothing to do with Manning (at least directly) The obvious key is what you stated above - run the hell out of the ball and minimize Indy's offensive possessions.

The last few years I have had nothing but confidence for the Colts - this year is completely different; hopefully they prove me wrong.

We are not going to see another Marvin Harrison - He is a great receiver, an all-time great and a shoo-in hall of famer but with the way the media is and how the NFL is just filled with prima donna players, no other WR (with his type numbers) will do it with as much class and humility as Marvin has and will.

Not that I mind a little showboating or celebration, I actually enjoy watching "OCHO CINCO", it's players like TO and Moss that I have a problem with. Just sayin' Marvin is as good (IMO better) than any other receiver out there today - he just doesn't get the same amount of "credit" or attention because he just does his work without all the "fluff"

I don't get it.....All ESPN talks about is how bad the run D is for the Colts. (No argument here). Then, they talk about how good LJ is, with good reason. Then they all pick the Colts to win??? That makes little sence to me.

Here is one positive thing I had not heard until tonight, KC ranks 31st against the play action pass. They've given up more yards on that type of play than almost all other teams. That is gonna be huge for Manning.

I understand that, but when you have a running back as good as LJ, and a run D that is giving up an avg. of 7 yards a carry, why would you not run just about every damn time? Even on plays where LJ is out, I'd run it on the Colts. The one stat that bothers me the most is that the Colts rank last on rushing 3rd down conversions.

Gotta give a TON of credit to the defense today. With the exception of KC's scoring drive, they were unbelievable. And that was kind of bullshit because Vinatieri kicked it out of bounds, letting the Chiefs start at the 40. We are going to have to play a hell of a lot better @ Baltimore next weekend, obviously.

My thoughts (I'm a Ravens fan, so I'm obviously biased):

-Jamal has an opportunity here to exploit the rush defense of the Colts. The Ravens are clock eaters and Jamal (with the OL) is a big part of that. You give the thus far efficient Ravens offense enough of a lead and Jamal will run the Colts out of the playoffs.

-Ravens secondary needs to pay attention to Mannings 3 INT's today. I don't think the Colts rush will get anywhere, meaning Manning will be forced to air it out, and often. If Manning is anything less than Platinum next week (and if the Ravens secondary shows up), I think the Ravens have this one.

-Ravens offense needs only to maintain the consistency and efficiency they have shown thus far. That means making the plays you need to make, McNair having his head in the game, and a little of that playoff magic from 2000 thrown in there.

My thoughts on how the Ravens could blow it:

-The Ravens are a fiery squad of guys, big talkers. They tend to get overzealous in the big games. This translates to penalties out the ass. The Ravens have killed themselves with penalties before and they could easily do it next week as well.

-If the game falls into Kyle Bollers hands for whatever reason, the Colts will have a big time opportunity to capitalize. He is a garbage quarterback.

In summary:

If Peyton Manning is ON next week, I don't think the Ravens will do so hot. Peyton may overwork the Ravens secondary to the point where they look like they did in Cincy (lazy and out of the game, allowing for big pass plays). McNair is a great quarterback (I've dealt with Boller for a few years, so McNair is "great" enough for me) but I don't know if he could compensate for a raging Peyton Manning. An early momentum for the Colts will piss the Ravens off and draw them into a penalty quagmire.

That said, I think this game is the Ravens game to lose. The team has come together quite well this year, especially since Fassel left, and they've been consistent. They've largely won the games they absolutely had to win and won the games they should have won. The crowd will be extremely loud, especially since the city is not entirely healed of having lost the Colts over 20 years ago. If the Ravens play the way they have been playing, I call Ravens 21 Colts 13.

well, i thought LJ would have a better day, i wasnt sure he alone would win it for KC, but to hohld LJ to 32 yards is very impressive.

Do that to Lewis next week and you might find the colts in the AFC championship game.

KC has a better runner and a better offensive line than Baltimore. McNair is going to be the X-factor. We have trouble with quarterbacks that can scramble.

Their D is over-rated? That's just a lie. They are ranked 1st in the NFL in Total Defense AND Points Allowed. I think this is going to be a great game, you have the top ranked D against the Colts 3rd ranked offense. Colts are also 2nd in the NFL in points scored. Like I said, it should be a great game.

Oh dont get me wrong they have a great D... they however are not invincible like everyone makes them out to be. If you play against them right you can score points. yes they are very hard to read but if you have a manning (or a palmer) at your helm you can try to pick them apart and they do have their weak points (the big play). You are right that it will be a great game and will be intresting to see what the colts can do. Avoid Reid and Lewis(hard to do of course) and the colts can beat this D easily imo. Keep in mind they probably only need about 20 or so points to win this game

Oh, okay, well I do agree there. No way they are invincible, that's for sure. Look at the second match-up the Ravens had against Cincy this season. The Bengals marched up and down the field, the DL couldn't penetrate the line to rush the passer and the secondary was blowing coverage left and right. Not to mention the Cincy secondary showed up to play. The Ravens still only lost that game by a touchdown though, as odd as that is. They should've given up about 3 touchdowns more the way they were playing. If THAT Ravens squad shows up, they will certainly be done.

your right and the only reason cincy lost the first game against the ravens earlier in the season is because they made 2 simply retarded mistakes in the first 3 minutes of the game to put them up 14 to nothing before we could blink and cincy only lost by 6 points... raven offense is bland and i dont think can keep up with colts O, that is if they dont do their choking thing they like to do during the playoffs :shrug anyways like I sad before im not a fan of the colts but i will be cheering for them next week

Colts are really blowing it early in this game. They should easily be up 14-0 but instead have made some horrible 3rd down playcalls and it's only a 6-0 game. This could come back and bite them later on today.

What a momentum shift. If he doesn't come out of nowhere with that INT, that's a definite touchdown. Ravens take the lead, and Peyton comes out even more nervous.

Nice job Indy, my hats off to ya. Indy did a great job of winning good field position. Ravens just couldn't get it done, nor could they make anything happen.

Good game, funny how no touchdowns were scored. I'd say all things considered, the Colts D still held their own this week (granted the Ravens O is nothing much to hold your own against).

personally im glad the colts won, i was way more scared of the baltimore defense than the colts.

i don't see the colt's advancing past the next game

1) they have one of the worst defenses i've seen in a while. if dungy spends the next week planning to stop LT, they can do it. but do they have an answer for gates and co? their secondary hasn't really been tested, but doesn't look too impressive to me.

2) Dungy out-coached the pats the last time they faced off, flat out. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Bellichick will not lose twice in a season to the same time. In the last game, the pats tried too much fancy shit rather than having time-killin corey dillon or maroney pound the ball up the gut for 5 yards a carry. Again, what does dungy/coaches focus on? the run game or stopping brady?

2b) Pats on the road will be 8-1 at that point, so that negates the home field advantage (especially coming off of a win at a stadium which refused to sell tickets to people outside of southern california...another rant in and of itself)

2c) Peyton has 5 INTs in 2 games, going against the man with the most picks in the league. outlook isn't too good

2d) he's peyton manning, and it's the playoffs. he's bound to collapse... again. give it time (and i'm an optimist) let's face it. he can throw for all the records he wants, but i'll take brady's 3 rings over a dozen of manning's regular season MVP awards...dan marino, charles barkley... all over again

one benefit for the colts is that they have the piece-of-shit-sonofabitch traitor kicker in vinatierri. if it comes down to the kicking game against the pats, the colts have the advantage, especially inside a dome.

however, it won't be that close because manning will throw at least 3 ints in the next round.

The problem with this is that San Diego does not have a veteran QB. Rivers has played ok, but watching their games this year he did not look like a gamebreaker, more of a caretaker. If they still had Brees I'd be more scared. Rivers did not seem to notice he had a Pro-Bowl TE and did not throw to him enough. A rookie (playing-wise) QB against the Patriots? I just am not as sold on the Chargers winning this game as most people are.

I personally would like to see the monkey get tossed off of Peyton's back.:monkey

In two games the Colts have given up 14 total points. Our rushing defense is holding teams under 100 yards. We are averaging 2 INT's a game and we are putting pressure on opposing QB's. We clearly have the best defense in the playoffs.

nah, even i dont hate the pats. the chargers lost it because they come from San Diego.

Well, being a Colts fan, I've hated the Pats for a long time. I was only pulling for them last night because with them winning, the Colts would be back home. Now that they've won, I'm a hater again.

I can't wait for this game! Hopefully Manning and the boys step up and put a good romping on the Pats.

Alright, the love fest is over. Fuck the Pats!!!!!

Here we go! FUCK THE PATS. We cannot lose again, just can't. Oh and my gf might be able to snag a couple of tix for next week, if you are going to be out there tailgating, let's have a couple of beers before the game. I wish she hadn't told me about the tix, till she was sure, now I'm all excited and will be bitterly dissapointed if the tix falls through.

GO COLTS!

I hope the media keeps talking shit about the Colts, it's been working so far.

That's a good start

Unless there is some really bad storm blowing through, we will be out there tailgating. Let me know if you're able to go, and I'll let you know where we always park at.

That sucks dude. If I hear anything about extras, I'll let you know. A guy I sit with might be upgrading our seats, and selling ours. I'll keep you posted.

Wow.....I can't believe it. SI doesn't think the Colts can win. BIG shocker....

Sometimes SI and ESPN and sooooo east coast it makes me sick. Not with just the NFL, but with most sports.

Wow, I cannot believe the defense played so well in the last two games. As long as they play relatively well and Peyton is on, Indy should definitely win. The Colts beat them in New England, let's hope they can beat them in the Dome as well.

This is going to be the game that defines Peyton's career, one way or another.

Is this game in Peytons head at ALL? Just because of what he has gone through against the Pats in the playoffs. I mean im sure hes gotta be mentally rattled... atleast slightly.

How great would it be if Vinatieri kicked a game winner?
I would laugh my ass off.

Or if Gostkowski did it as the replacement for Adam, with 3 seconds left. :lol

Yup ;)

Just coming from someone who isn't a fan of either team... I think either finish via a kicker would be hilarious.
