YOU"RE WELCOME!!!!!!!

the least Ersay could have done was leave the colts colors and name in B'more---saying the "Indi. Colts" have been around for 51 years is wrong.

And the Cleveland thing is different---they got a team back in 2 years and they got to keep their name, team and colors--plus all their trophies and history---it was all taken form us in the middle of the night one snowy night.

Besides, the Blackbirds won a Super Bowl a couple of years ago... youre doing ok.

When is Dungy going to learn to not kick directly to good returners? He kicked it to NE's Bethel Johnson multiple times until he ran one back against them earlier in the season. Hall is by far the most dangerous returnman this year and apparently everyone knows it but Indy.

Just like the Eagles, they choke during the AFC championship.

That and the fact they continue to have the worst defense in the NFL year after year. Not gonna win too many playoff games getting into shootouts like that week in and week out... granted, the D was a bit improved this past Sunday against Houston.... hardly nothing to get excited about.... the Colts would struggle in trying to put together a package to stop the Hooisers offense, let alone another NFL team.
Speaking of playoffs, last time I checked, Peyton was a rookie in 1998, he didnt win a playoff game until 2003........could be another reason why the 'greatest qb ever' has NOT won a championship. We'll see if Manning can continue this craziness against the Bears swarming D next week.... nobody can argue with what he has done this season up until this point.... we'll see how he handles these obsurd Bears blitz packages....and where its a good possibility the Colts walk out of Chicago with a W on Sunday, I expect Peyton to struggle. The Bears D is not human.

Marino's record id 48 TD's and just over 5,000 yards for a season. payton will probably take them both this season. I believe after yesterday he's at 31 TD's, right?

I 'd like to agree...... The Bears and Lions are definitely going to be the class of the division in next few years. The Viqueens will remain the same old Viqueens, start the season strong, teasing themselves amongest the NFL elite, only to fall short of a playoff birth by losing to the Saints or some shit on the final week.....the Pack, :lol once Farve retires, the Packers go back to a 2-14 team....almost started this year before the retirement.... NFC Central title will be decided at Soldier Field Sun Jan 2 against GB.

I give Farve all the respect in the world. Say he's overrated if you want, say he's the best if you want..... there's no way nobody will ever touch his consecutive games or intangibles he bring's to his game......the guy is a true football player.

Marino never won a championship yet he is regarded as one of the best QB's, so just because you never win a championship doesn't make you any less of a QB. Hopefully this won't happen to Manning.

11-16-2004, 05:53 PM
Yea there is...If I honestly had a chance I would pick McNabb He doesnt have as many targets as manning put his throwing/running with that many receivers he would be a star (even tho he is already)

I like Edgerrin too, he's good, but Stockley is my second fave, he's little yet so good. Marvin Harrison does some pretty impressive stuff out on the field though.. Then there's marcus pollard, reggie wayne...the colts offense impresses the shit out of me

Manning continues his pace to break Marino's single season TD mark of 48. A big advantage Manning has besides the new rules are that the majority of his TD's come off of play-action or are from no huddle plays, which puts the defense at a huge disadvantage.

Dont be bitter!

If pass protection was officiated last year in the playoffs last year like it is this year to date... the Colts would be working on their second straight championship. No worries though, thats how it is.

However, the most exciting thing to watch is our pass rush right now. Mathis is turning it up a notch and combined with Freeney we are shredding O-Lines. Bob Sanders might be my new favorite Colt too... man does he bring the lumber. Every tackle in a game you see #21 flying in and at least getting a piece of someone....

Super Bowl or not in the end, they are just tons of fun to watch.

A Colts-Eagles Super Bowl sure would be fun...

Manning's performance yesterday is the best game Ive ever seen out of a quarterback.....what a fucking stud. AMAZING. Nothing was going to stop him yesterday in clinching a re-match with the only team that has held him down.... and call me crazy, they'll beat the Pats this weekend. The focus is there. The Colts are on a serious mission headed by #18, cutting that meat all the way to the Superbowl. Their "D" is good enough. You fall down by 14 to the Colts.... see ya.

You wanna hear something crazy? That game was such a no-contest that I just about fell asleep! Even when it was late in the third quarter, Denver never really looked like they were in a hurrry. I don't understand that. I also don't understand how they never double teamed Wayne. I don't know, but I loved it! I've never been a big Jets fan, but I will be this weekend. If they pull off a win this weekend, and Colts can get a win, they come back home and I've already got my ticket!!

I wouldnt have it any other way.

We WILL be able to score and pass the ball effectively on their battered secondary. Will we be able to stop them? Harder to say, maybe. An early lead will take Dillon out of the game and release the pit bulls, er, I mean Freeney and Mathis on Brady. Its time for pretty boy to eat Razorblade Field dirt.

If there was ever a time we were going to get this done, it would be now.

If the Colts win it all.......... will this be considered the best offense ever????

I think the 1999 Rams Offense might have been better. I know Warner only threw maybe 44 TDs or soemthing like that that year (compared to Peytons 49) but I'm sure Marshall Faulk ran for a bunch of TDs so they probably racked up more total yards and points.

Also Minnesota had a REALLY good offense a few years back maybe in 1998? When they went 15-1.

clayj41

I think so, but its hard to say. Some people will still consider the Rams team from 99-02 and of course, Marino's Dolphins.
