Several CTU employees worry about the situation much to the amusement of Sherry Palmer. Meanwhile, we are all wondering why they didn't just kidnap Teri straight away rather than pretending to be her friend for a few episodes...

I'm completely with you, as long as there are never any more breaks in the flow of 24. There should never be a two or three week break and during Season 3 we had TWO 3-week breaks.

A couple things REALLY bothered me last night....

1. Nina got away from the virus exchange. CTU has a freakin' helicopter out there! Probably with infrared!!! They better find her.

2. Why wasn't the chopper on Amadore's Hummers???? Blow a hole in the road and make them stop!!!

3. Amadore's ambush was completely weak. Two CTU hummers......ALL of the men focused on Amadore and his cohort?
I thought that was weak.......There should have been a couple of CTU guys watching the perimeter.

Kyle, as I understand it, Hour 1 and 2 [episodes 1 and 2] will air back to back Sunday night. Hour 3 and 4 [episodes 3 and 4] will air back to back Monday night, and Hour 5 [episode 5] will air the following Monday night at 9.

I would recommend watching at least 5 episodes of season 1. If you aren't at least interested by then, I'd be surprised. Watch the entire 1st season and I guarantee you'll bend over backwards to watch the other 2.

That's because you didn't watch season 1. Season 1 is far and away better then the other 2 (although the other 2 are still heads above better than anything on TV). Watch the first season, change your underwear 35 times, and come back and talk to us.

I don't see how anyone would think this is a prequel. The written trailer clearly says this season takes place 18 months after the last the one ended. In fact, I don't think this season will have anything to do with the first 3.

I think not. 24, while not completely reliant on Jack Bauer, would lose a large portion of its viewers if he were to die - so many viewers that the show might die as a result.
