i also believe this...maybe not that he tampered with it, but that he doesn't agree with his parents. it's one thing to raise your kids in israel and say "go outside. see what the israelis do to us? now put a bomb on and go blow up something."

but you can't do the same thing in america...one, the culture is too inclusive for a kid that young to not be affected by it. two..being an asshole dad is only going to make him rebel more.

Man oh man I really, really enjoy Edgar and Chloe's characters. I wasn't too fond of Chloe at the start of S3 but now I think she's brilliant.
When she says to Edgar "I made the deal you don't have to repeat it to me you know"
and when she says to Driscoll "Whatever, I was going to quit anyway" I laughed my ass off. :lol She's really good.
In the gas station as well when you see the target looking through the fridge at Jack as the police officer comes to the door and pulls him in. He has this look on his face like "what the fuck is this nutbar doing?" Great expression.
The bass line in S4.4 is exactly the same as the theme from the movie "Snatch" - but other than that I would terribly surprised if there was anyone out there that couldn't keep their feet from tapping during the windows thudding split screen 2 minutes before the end of every episode.
Jack is very familiar with police protocol and knows he can't come out of the car screaming "I'm Jack Bauer you assholes. I used to work for CTU now I'm with the DOD. I'm going to pull out my badge"
In that situation with the gas station behind him and armed he knows to just be careful not to get his head blown off.
Great two episodes. It was great to be spoiled by 4 hours in two nights.

I think my favorite part of every episode is when they start to cut to the split screen at the end, and the picture slowly starts to shrink to one of the corners. You have Callery's score going in the background, and when they "lock" into place, you get the whoosh.

My favorite ever, however, was from Season 1, after Jack kidnaps Coffel in his limo, with the music going in the background right at the end (starts with him running down the stairs after pulling the alarm) - that's my favorite split screen end - with the shot of Jack in the driver's sunglasses starts to shrink.

That's what is so great about Season 2 Episode 1 (S2.1)
It was commercial free so the whole episode has the wooshing split screen as it never goes to commercials.
I think S3.1 does that as well doesn't it?
Shame they didn't do it with S4.1 but I can't complain knowing that we'll already be watching S4.5 next Monday. They were a little overboard with the commercials though.

No doubt - that was pretty cool.
I know some people thought it took a little long to get the satellites up (I think it went from 5 minutes to 50 minutes, but Chloe was getting interrupted left, right and centre) but like I was mentioning earlier - in Jack's mind this is the only way. Hence he will go to almost any lengths to make sure it happens the way he wants it to, like he always has.
