Believe it or not I didn't watch The X-Files until it was released on DVD. If I started watching 24 now would I be lost ? How many episodes have aired ? I know that this season is set at least a year or so after last season right ? I thought about reserving the fisrt season DVD from the library, I cancelled because I was # 135 on the waiting list.

Ok poor analogy but you get my jive. Once again 24 raises the bar and kills off one of the only common threads between all three seasons. This makes it VERY interesting, because now Alvers/Amador has to be the main link back to Max on the boat, I hope. :)

Did anyone think that the guy at the very end of S2 looked like Hammond from the meeting with Palmer? After the episode I went back and took "screenshots" of the guy from tonight, and the guy from S2. [The man from S2 is the guy whom calls Max to tell him that the US isn't going to war - which implies that he was in w/ the US gov since he knew so quickly after the decision.]

Anyway - Hammond was in last season - he came into CTU from division to try and move their people to a different location, and Mason shut him down. So these two men can't possibly be the same, but I'll post the pictures anyway and see if we can get some discussion as to who the hell that guy was at the end of S2. ;)

Despite the fact that he looks slightly familiar I know that I recognise him NOT from 24 but from some other show. Much like the sneaky detective who I'm sure was in The Serpent & The Rainbow and Live and Let Die. I think it will be a huge surprise when this season finally comes to light.
In the meantime those of you that are watching Season 1 and 2; you will throughly enjoy.
Watching S2Ep1 last Sun was totally awesome. I think I will end up rewatching all of S2 before 03.30.
