if it's audio, use this:

http://www.etree.org/eac.html

If it's SHN just copy and paste to your hard drive

I have windows xp and used this fix and everything works like a charm:

- No CDs can be found in any drive (or no (USB/Firewire) CD-ROM drives are listed). In this case, when using Windows 2000 or XP, download from Nero the WNASPI32.DLL ( ftp://ftp6.nero.com/wnaspi32.dll ) and put it into the directory where EAC is installed (search for EAC.EXE). In
EAC options / Interface select "ASPI" and restart EAC (perhaps you can also try different interfaces).

No, I've got Windows ME.

I used to work at the computer help desk here at school... guess which OS had the most network connection problems. I was trying to convince my boss to take Windows ME off the "supported software" list.

i never got the whole problem with ME. but it seems like it's always an easy answer to throw out to someone who's having a problem with something, and happen to be using ME.

i'm no computer whiz, but i do know that i've been using ME for over a year now, and haven't had any problems with it at all. certainly not in regards to EAC.

go figure.

compared to XP, ME was nothing but problems.

I copied the music and then I tried to play the files and there was no music. I will just work with it some more. I haven't had that many problems with ME,but I do want to upgrade to XP soon.

If you try to copy and paste the music files, you will get no sound. you can copy the cd in most media players (windows media will let you do it), but i reccommend figuring out how to use EAC. it's the best program out there for ripping audio.

oh yeah, and i've done it using ME. it's not that bad ;)
