you can just play it in standard tuning and it sounds really good still. I've actually never played it that tuning anyways, oh well.

Someone has a thread on the musician forums front page asking about Mason Williams' 'Classical Gas', read that thread, I posted a tab for it from www.guitartabs.cc.

Moonlight Sonata 1st Movement Beethoven

Got some slightly odd stretches but it's slow and has a basic right hand pattern.

that would seem rather complex, musically, is it? and do you have a good link for a tab?

It's pretty cool, I have sheet music for it, not sure about where to find a tab, as I hate reading internet tabs. Musically complex, well it's beethoven, but it's fairly simple in terms of arrangement, lots of great chords you won't find in guitar tunes, since it was written for piano (hence the stretches).

yeah, internet tabs...very inconsistant to say the least, if you come across anything let me know. i have no clue where to start

Maybe I just suck, but I don't think "Neon" is easy at all, at least not compared to Dust in the Wind or Blackbird.

Ben Harper "Forever" might be a good idea also.

Led Zeppelin's "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" would be good, although more of a challenge I think.

Those four should get you off well. Look up some Travis Style fingerpicking methods, that's a cool skill to have down as a guitarist.

And yeah, don't touch Neon. Not yet at least.

Or maybe I'm just an idiot.

haha...

Neon's not hard to tune too it's in Drop C.

I would try Clampton's "Tears in heaven" it's a good Fingerpicking tune.

Where did you find the tab in standard tuning? I am too lazy to tune to that. Please tell me, I love that song soooo much.
