I like the driving downward feel I get from listening to the song, piano is nice. The lyrics are good, as well as the background vocals. The chorus is a good run, maybe a little more emotion in the vocals wouldn't hurt. Maybe a little background singing verses at the same time would be cool. I forget what song it is but it was on Blues Travelers album, the one after their bassist died and he had a song written for him. I think that's the song where they do that simultaneous chorus like singing. I like the song alot. I think it could be better though, mainly in the choruses I guess. Great job though Chris. You're songwriting has really been superb. I would put you in the category with those who haven't made it yet, but definately have the talent to be as well as deserve to. thanks.







And what was that about the JTG tab? You're going to post it? Cool!

don't you hear the background vocals in the chorus? I thought they were pretty present in the mix?

oh yeah I could hear them fine, I was just mentioning maybe having them singing something else, rather than exactly what you're singing. I think you'd have to hear that Blue Traveler song I was mentioning to understand what I meant. I do like the background vocals though , they sound really good.

The album is called 'Bridge'. The song is #7 titled 'Pretty Angry (for J. Sheehan)'. You'll see what I mean.

Instrumental side was awesome, clarity of it all - awesome. Vocally and lyrically i was not taken for a ride.

HAHAHA, I was thinking the same thing. "Sweet, soups got a new song to download, wonder if he is going to post the JTG tab?"

I like the song, it's pretty good. I do like the background singing and the piano.
